Gastry is a family-owned business that specializes in selling freshly baked bread, pastries, and homemade jams. The logo, which features an Italian baker, highlights the bakery's authenticity, while the branding is characterized by a playful yet rustic aesthetic, creating a homemade appearance.
Objective
The objective of this company is to create an attractive and appealing visual appearance that would captivate the attention of bakery-goers. The intention is to establish a distinctive brand identity and design packaging for Gastry's bread and jams.
Process
To create this brand, we began by analyzing the branding and logos of potential competitors. We sought to differentiate ourselves from them and appeal to a distinct target audience. After finalizing logo concepts, we explored typography and color schemes that would make our brand distinctive. Our logo design process began with the creation of an illustrated mascot in the form of an Italian baker.
Additionally, we designed packaging for our homemade jams, featuring illustrations of the unique flavors that are exclusive to Gastry's. Creating 3D Models of the jam jars that can be used for marketing and website.
